XCal is an innovative highly plant available soluble calcium liquid nutrient source that improves water utilization and infiltration in all irrigation systems.

Through many years of outcome based trials the benefits of injecting XCal into the irrigation water @ 15-30 pmm :

  • An increase in infiltration rates of between 50 and 100 percent
  • Water use reduction in trials of 18- 25%
  • Reducing or eliminating run off
  • Improving soil flocculation and structure
  • Improving root growth
  • Displacing Sodium and other " Salts" associated with irrigation water
  • Softening the irrigation water
  • Removing accumulating bicarbonate build up in irrigation systems
For optimum results, XCal is ideally injected into the irrigation water continuously to 15 ppm - 35 ppm (higher rates for hard and low quality water with high EC )
The rates may be able to be reduced over time based on improved infiltration results and lower sodium and chlorides in soil and plant tests.
